The Prayer that Saved 

She seemed to appear from nowhere, behind a veil silently praying, believing each time she asks it will be the time He answers. The Prayer that Saved only because she kept saying them and she doesn't know which one.

Misty shards of light appear to come from a spot, organic virticle marks create distance and depth. A vague figure is seen kneeling, her head lifted. There seems to be light coming from a lamp and an abstract chair is obscured. There is a contrasting red block at the back and soft pastel shades of blue, lemon and pink. A sense of peace prevails.

Created using many layers and glazes of acrylic paint on stretched canvas, small areas of texture, varnished with a satin finish.

Measures: 15.5" x 19.5" x 0.5" - 39.5cm x 49.5cm x 1.5cm
Initillaled and dated on the front.
